2009/01/11 German Modeler Creates Museum-quality V&T Equipment

Pastor Thomas Ahlhelm of Urbach, Thuringen, Germany has been building V&T models in O Scale for many years.  The Harz Narrowgage Railroad starts near Urbach. (http://www.selketalbahn.de/index.htm).  We thought that this was particularly good work, and wanted to share some photos with our website visitors.  Tom visited the Comstock in 2007.  Tom is working in plastic resin castings, which means that a lot of the bodywork on his cars can be duplicated.  He hopes to bring them to the commercial market someday.
